Like many kids with older siblings, my first experiences with the college admissions process included going along for the ride as my older brother toured colleges across the country. While most younger siblings dread the long road trips and countless tours, this is where I first discovered my passion for college admissions. Each visit felt like a dream that I could make a reality for the day. By the time it was my turn to pick my dream school, I had already visited over 30 college campuses and felt incredibly prepared to make the right decision for myself.
For me, that was Brandeis University. I immediately signed up to become a tour guide and eventually served as the Senior Interviewer for prospective students. With these experiences, I fell even deeper in love with admissions and advising. It was no surprise that it led me to discover my calling for school counseling. I then earned my Masters of Education in Psychological Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling from Columbia University and continued my education to earn a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northeastern University.
My career has taken me through a variety of school settings in the tri-state area, most recently as a school counselor at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, NY. I’m thrilled to now consult full time, giving me the flexibility to share my experience and knowledge with you outside of a traditional school setting.
